The Stone Crest Subdivision is holding its 4th Annual Subdivision Sale on Saturday, July 12th from 7am to Noon in Washington, Missouri.  A printable list of the homes that are participating in the sale is included below.  Directions: from Route 100, take South Point Road about 1/2 mile South to Deutsch Crest on the right.

Last Day To Register To Vote For August 5th Primary is July 9th E-mail

The last day to register to vote for the August 5th primary in Franklin County, Missouri is July 9th.  From the County Clerk's website, you may register to vote:
  • At County Clerk's Office located in the Franklin County Government Building 400 E Locust room 201.
  • At any Department of Motor Vehicles office, or state agency providing a service to the public (WIC, Social Services, etc.)
  • By mail through the post-card voter registration application, which may be obtained by calling the County Clerk's office
  • At most city halls, schools and libraries
You can register to vote at the License Office in Washington, Missouri, located at 323 West Main Street.  That office is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9a to Noon.
 
Voter registration qualifications are:
  • 18 years of age by Election Day (you may register to vote when you are 17 1/2 , but you are not eligible to vote until your 18th birthday.)
  • US Citizen
  • Missouri Resident

State Assembly and Treasurer Candidates to Speak at Washington, Missouri Forum E-mail

The Washington Federation of Republican Women will be holding a forum for State Candidates for Assembly and Treasurer on Wednesday, July 9th, at Chico's Cantina Mexican Restaurant in Washington, Missouri.  The event starts at 6:00pm.  The event is open to the public.  A release with additional details, provided by the organization, follows:

Washington River Festival Held Saturday E-mail

Despite high river waters, the Washington River Festival was held on Saturday June 14th at the riverfront park in Washington, Missouri.  The Missouri River cleanup, also scheduled for Saturday, was cancelled due to the high waters.  The event was previously covered in these WashMo.com articles: Washington River Festival and Missouri River Cleanup Scheduled for June 14th and Washington River Festival To Be Held June 14th at Washington Riverfront Park.
