Riverfront Trail Day, an event for Senior Citizens and Physically Disabled individuals, is scheduled for June 4, 2008 in Washington, Missouri. The free event is sponsored by the Washington Rotary Club and the Washington Parks and Recreations Department. Activities include includes tram rides, wheelchair escorts, refreshments and bingo. Additional information provided by the organization is included below. The photographs in this article were taken by Curt Dennison at the 2007 Riverfront Trail Day.

Join us for a delightful tour of the Riverfront Trail along with Bingo games -- with prizes, hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks. Come spend the day with us. Wheelchair escorts are available at 8am, 9am and 10am. Tram rides are available at 9am, 10am, 11am, Noon, 1pm and 2pm. (no electric wheelchairs or scooters are allowed on the trams) Lunch served from 10:30am - 1:30pm Reserve your spot to see the Beautiful Rotary Rivefront Trail, call Robin at the Washington Parks Office at 636-390-1080. If you need a ride to the riverfront, please let Robin know. June 11th has been designated as a rain date.
