The Washington River Festival will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 10:30am until 4:00pm at the Washington Riverfront Park in Washington, Missouri. Also on June 14th from 9:00am until noon, a Missouri River Clean-up event will be held. The Washington River Festival will feature educational exhibits, music, kid's activities, food, a World Bird Sanctuary presentation and more. The entertainment schedule is included below: World Bird Sanctuary - 10:30 until 11:15 Additional information on the festival, including a list of the exhibitors, will be provided in a later article. The Missouri River Clean-up is a "unique opportunity to work together with your community to get rid of the trash along the Missouri River." The clean-up will begin at 9am at the Washington, Missouri Riverfront Park Boat Ramp. Boats will ferry volunteers to river banks and islands to pick up trash that has washed on shore.
