The Senior Prom, held annually in Washington, Missouri, is scheduled to get national attention from two national media outlets this Friday.  The CBS Evening News will include a story during the broadcast on CBS on Friday at 5:30pm.  The story will be part of the Assignment America segment with Steve Hartman.  The segment will air near the end of the broadcast.

 

Also covering the Prom this year will be an article in People Magazine.  That article is scheduled to hit newstands on Friday as well.

 

The Senior Prom, which is hosted annually by the Washington High School Student Council, was held Saturday, May 10th.  The Prom is open to all area senior citizens.  According to Wayne Dothage, Student Council advisor, there were 347 senior citizens in attendance this year.
