| MoDOT To Kick Off Construction for Route 100 Widening Project in Washington, Missouri |

On Friday, June 6th, 2008 at 1:00pm, MoDOT representatives, among others, will be in Washington, Missouri to kick off the construction project which will widen Route 100 to four lanes from Washington, Missouri to Interstate 44. The event will take place at the commuter parking lot near the intersection of Route 100 and South Point Road. MoDOT District Engineer Ed Hassinger will be the Master of Ceremonies. Officials scheduled to speak at the ceremony include: Duane Michie, Chairman of Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission; Pete Rahn, Director of Missouri Department of Transportation; Richard Stratman, City of Washington Mayor; Peggy Barnhart, office of US Senator Kit Bond; Jenni Riegel, office of US Congressman Kenny Hulshof; State Senator John Griesheimer; State Representative Brian Nieves; State Representative Kevin Threlkeld; Ed Hillhouse, Presiding Franklin County Commissioner.
