Route 100 Dedication Held Friday in Washington, Missouri PDF Print E-mail

The dedication ceremony for the Route 100 widening project was held Friday afternoon in Washington, Missouri.  The project, which will convert the existing two-lane highway into a four-lane highway, is a cost-share partnership between MoDOT and the City of Washington.  The contract for the project was awarded to Millstone Bangert for approximately $21.1 million.

Speaking at the dedication were Ed Hassinger, MoDOT District Engineer, Duane Michie, Chairman of Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, Pete Rahn, Director of Missouri Department of Transportation, Richard Stratman, City of Washington Mayor, Peggy Barnhart, office of US Senator Kit Bond, Jenni Riegel, office of US Congressman Kenny Hulshof, State Senator John Griesheimer, State Representative Brian Nieves, State Representative Kevin Threlkeld and Ed Hillhouse, Presiding Franklin County Commissioner.
