As mentioned in a previous WashMo.com article (Phoenix Park Grand Opening Scheduled, Benefit Walk Planned),  Phoenix Park is scheduled to hold a grand opening on September 13, 2008.

The grand opening will include a family walk that will benefit the Down Syndrome and Cystic Fibrosis Associations.  WashMo.com is proud to be a sponsor of the walk.

Special family activities will be available including a bounce house, face painting, a petting zoo and music.

The park, which is located south of Target in the Phoenix Center II development, includes a walking trail, and is accessible via Vernaci Drive or by footbridge from Rabbit Trail Drive.  The park has parking seperate from the nearby retail shopping parking lots, and has parking space for over 60 vehicles.
