A public hearing will be held at the Tuesday night Washington, Missouri City Council meeting. The Council Meeting was moved to Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday. The public hearing is a result of Bank of Franklin County's application to obtain a special use permit to construct a three-story hotel near the intersection of Highway 100 and Rabbit Trail Drive. A prior public hearing was held on August 11, to get approval for a plan to place the hotel's parking lot within 50 feet of adjacent residential lots. That special use permit, along with a request to subdivide the lot, was approved.
