Phoenix Park, Washington, Missouri's newest park, held its grand opening on September 13.  A large crowd showed up for the event, which included live music, kid's activities and a family walk to benefit the Down Syndrome and Cystic Fibrosis Associations.  WashMo.com was one of the sponsors of the event.

The park, which is located south of Target in the Phoenix Center II development, includes a walking trail, and is accessible via Vernaci Drive or by footbridge from Rabbit Trail Drive.
