Missouri River Rising in Washington, MO PDF Print E-mail

The Missouri River is nearing 27 feet (gage height) in Washington, Missouri.  The river was at 26.83 feet early afternoon on Tuesday, just below the high of 26.87 feet reached earlier in the day.  The river was as low as 5.06 feet less than a week ago.

The result, as can be seen by the photographs is a river nearing Highway 47 just north of the Missouri River bridge.

At Rennick Park, the river has overtaken all of the available parking, and access to the park is restricted to pedestrian traffic only.
