According to a Panera Bread spokesperson, plans have begun for the development of a Saint Louis Bread Co. location in Washington, Missouri.  The bakery-cafe will be located in the Washington Corners plaza just west of Walgreens.  Uncommon to Saint Louis Bread Co. locations, the Washington, Missouri location will feature drive-through service as well as the more typical bakery-cafe.  Saint Louis Bread Co. offers a variety of soups, sandwiches and fresh baked breads as well as specialty beverages.  An opening date has not yet been set, however a late 2008 or early 2009 opening is anticipated.
