An early afternoon accident resulted in one car leaving the road and hitting paving equipment slated for use in the Highway 100 widening project. The accident occurred about 1/4 mile east of South Point Road on Highway 100. According to a Highway Patrol report, two were taken by Washington Ambulance to St. John's Mercy with moderate injuries.
