Unofficial Results Show County Constitution Defeated, Changes in Council

Unofficial final results from the Franklin County, Missouri County Clerk's office are now available.
 
The results indicate Proposition C, the adoption of a County Constitution was defeated by a vote of 9,044 to 4,380.
 
In Washington, Missouri, the School Board election was a close race.  Todd Geisert and Diane Brunworth were elected by being the top two vote-getters in the race of three candidates.
 
For City Council, both John Rhodes and Connie Groff were re-elected in their uncontested races in wards two and three, respectively.
 
In ward one Walt Meyer defeated incumbent Herb Dill, while in Ward 4, Tim Buddemeyer defeated incumbent Roger Langendoerfer.
 
Election results are not yet final; this article will be updated, should they change.
