Unofficial Results: Prop A Fails, Trash Prop Passes; Some Council Seats Changing

Proposition A was defeated with 6712 against and 5485 in favor of the measure.  Proposition A was intended "to improve, expand and develop residential services, employment programs, and related services for those children and adults with developmental disabilities."

The Washington Proposition which will phase in trash rate increases over the next two years passed in Washington with 1402 in favor and 986 opposed.

In Washington City Council races, incumbents Walt Meyer (Ward 1) and Connie Groff (Ward 3) were re-elected.  Meyer defeated Katherine Shaw and Tom Coulter to retain his seat, while Groff ran an uncontested race.

Jeff Mohesky defeated incumbent John Rhodes for the Ward 2 council seat.  Mohesky was previously a Ward 2 Councilman before running for Mayor in the April, 2010 election.

Tom Holtmeier defeated incumbent Tim Buddemeyer for the Ward 4 council seat.
